LUNA Poly Gel 04, 30 ml

LUNAmoon Poly Gel is a polygel that combines the strength of acrylic with the flexibility of gel. It is designed for strengthening, nail repairs, extensions, sculpted French and 3D nail art, and works well with upper (dual) forms.

The material does not run or float from the warmth of your hands and holds its shape, so you can work on up to 4 nails at once. It files easily without clogging the file, and the dust settles instead of spreading into the air.

Application – strengthening:

1. Shape the nail and lightly mattify the surface with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer, without pressure.
2. Degrease the nail twice, for example with LUNAmoon Nail Prep.
3. Apply primer if needed.
4. Apply a thin layer of rubber base and cure for 60 seconds. Remove the sticky layer.
5. Spread and level Poly Gel with an orangewood stick, keeping 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure for 120 seconds.
6. Remove the sticky layer, then file the shape.
7. Apply gel polish if desired (cure for 60 seconds), finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the top coat after curing.

Application – extension on upper forms:

1. Shorten the natural nail to about 1 mm, give it a rounded shape and lightly mattify the surface.
2. Degrease the nail and apply primer.
3. Apply a thin layer of rubber base and cure for 60 seconds. Remove the sticky layer.
4. Fill an upper form with Poly Gel, press it onto the nail and cure for 120 seconds.
5. Remove the form and the sticky layer, then file the shape and remove the dust.
6. If needed, touch up the filed areas with rubber base and cure for 30 seconds.
7. Apply gel polish if desired (cure for 60 seconds), finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

Tips:

• Spread the material with an orangewood stick.
• Always remove the sticky layer before filing.
• Keep the thickness even to avoid translucent spots and cracks.
• On thin or soft natural nails, file about 1 mm of the free edge from the underside to prevent curling and lifting.

Shelf life: 24 months; use within 18 months after opening.
