LUNA Light Acrygel 52, 13 ml

LUNAmoon Light Acrygel is an innovative liquid acrygel for strengthening, leveling and extending the corners of the natural nail. It combines polygel and base: it contains 60–80% acrylate copolymer, the main component of polygels, and a smaller share of base components. Light Acrygel can fully replace a traditional leveling base.

Key features:

• Acid-free, medium consistency.
• Medium pigmentation that covers the free edge.
• Flexible – does not crack on impact.
• Intended for strengthening the nail and extending the corners of the nail plate.
• Recommended thickness: 0.5 mm at the free edge, 1 mm in the apex area.
• The natural nail must be mattified with a file before application.
• Apply over a rubbed-in layer of rubber base.
• Can be gently warmed for a more fluid consistency.
• Curing time: 120 seconds.
• Volume: 13 ml.

Application – strengthening:

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Mattify the nail plate with a 100 grit buffer or a 220 grit file.
3. Perform a manicure.
4. Degrease the nail thoroughly (for example with LUNAmoon Nail Prep).
5. Apply primer if needed.
6. Rub in a thin layer of rubber base with a flat brush, especially near the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds and remove the sticky layer.
7. Apply Light Acrygel, keeping 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds, then complete curing for 120 seconds.
8. File the shape and refine the free edge. If the nail is soft, file about 1 mm from the underside to prevent lifting.
9. Remove the sticky layer, apply gel polish if desired, finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

Application – extension on forms:

1. Remove the previous coating, shorten the nail to about 1 mm and shape it.
2. Mattify the nail plate with a 100 grit buffer or a 220 grit file and perform a manicure.
3. Degrease the nail and apply primer.
4. Rub in a thin layer of rubber base with a flat brush. Cure for 60 seconds and remove the sticky layer.
5. Fit a paper or upper form and build the free edge with a clear builder gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
6. File the nail to the desired shape and remove the sticky layer and dust.
7. Apply rubber base to the filed areas and cure for 30 seconds.
8. Level the surface with Light Acrygel. After 10–15 seconds in the lamp, pinch to form the C-curve (20 seconds for glitter shades), then cure for 120 seconds.
9. Remove the sticky layer, apply gel polish if desired, finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
