LUNA Diamond Gel 9, 15 ml

Diamond Gel LUNAmoon is a modeling gel (builder gel) for nail extension, restoration, and strengthening.

Key features:

• Acid-free.
• Has shock-absorbing properties and does not crack upon impact.
• Medium consistency.
• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
• Suitable for the "no-file extension" technique.
• Suitable for extension using upper forms.
• Does not cause burning in the lamp.
• Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and more fluid in warmth.
• Thixotropic — becomes more fluid when the brush is moved during application.
• Can be additionally warmed to make the gel more fluid.
• Hard at a thickness of 1 mm. If the thickness is less than 1 mm, it may flex slightly, but this does not affect wear.
• Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
• Requires an underlayer of Rubber Base.

Application method — Strengthening:

1. Removal.
2. Don't file the nail shape. Alternatively, leave 2 mm of spare length, which you will file down and remove after leveling.
3. File the nail with a 220 grit file without applying strong pressure, lifting the nail plate flakes. Alternatively, use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Manicure.
5. If you use removers, wash your hands with soap and water after use.
6. Nail de-greasing. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes. One wipe per 5 fingers. The first pass — wipe the nail surface. The second pass — take an orange stick, put a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Dehydrator (optional).
8. Use primer as desired. However, if the base for the undercoat has sufficient acidity, primer is not necessary.
9. Apply Rubber Base underlay. It's best to apply it with a flat gel brush. The strokes should be wiping. It's important to emphasize all the nail folds. Cure for 60 seconds.
10. Remove stickiness. Alignment. When leveling with gel, it's necessary to create a distance from the cuticle of 0.5–1 mm. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
11. Buff the form after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the edge to support the free edge.
12. It is necessary to file the natural nail for better adhesion; if this is not done, there will be lifting at the free edge of the nail.
13. After filing, remove the tackiness.
14. Apply gel polish if needed.
15. Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds. After curing, don't wipe anything off, as it may dull the shine.

Application method — Classic Nail Extension:

1. Remove the previous set.
2. Trim the nail length to 1 mm and shape into a round form.
3. Buff the nail gently with a 220-grit file, lifting the cuticle area or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap and water after use.
6. Dehydrate the nail. Use 4 wipes, one per 5 fingers. The first pass is to wipe the nail surface, and the second pass is to take an orangewood stick, wrap it with a wipe, and wipe the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Apply dehydrator (optional).
8. Apply primer.
9. Apply a layer of Rubber Base. Best applied with a flat gel brush. Brush strokes should be wiping. It is important to cover all nail folds. Cure for 30 seconds.
10. Remove the tackiness.
11. Apply nail form for extension of the free edge.
12. Fill the nail form with clear gel for artificial nail. Cure for 30 seconds.
13. File the free edge and shape as needed.
14. Wipe off the tackiness and excess dust.
15. Apply another layer of Rubber Base to areas that were filed. Cure for 30 seconds.
16. Smooth out with gel, place in the lamp, and press for 10–15 seconds. If the gel is very tacky or contains glitter, press for 20 seconds.
17. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
18. Before applying gel polish, wipe off the tackiness.
19. Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds. After curing, don't wipe anything off, as it may dull the shine.
