LUNA Almond Medium Gel Tips, 500 pcs

LUNAmoon Almond Medium Gel Tips are ready-made gel tips for quick extension of short natural nails. They are strong yet flexible, attach easily and can be filed and soaked off with gel polish remover. The tips allow at most 1–2 corrections without complete removal.

Extension method:

1. Shorten the natural nail to about 1 mm and shape it round. Gently mattify with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer.
2. Perform a manicure; wash your hands if you used a cuticle remover. Degrease the nail in two steps (for example with LUNAmoon Nail Prep) and apply a dehydrator if needed.
3. Apply primer.
4. Rub in a thin layer of rubber base with a flat gel brush, working it into all nail folds. Cure for 60 seconds and remove the sticky layer.
5. Choose tips of the right size and apply base to the contact area inside the tip.
6. Place the tip on the natural nail and hold it in place until fully cured in the lamp.
7. File the shape and remove the sticky layer and dust.
8. Apply another thin layer of rubber base and cure for 30 seconds.
9. Level with a color base (the tips are already hard – adding another hard material may cause lifting). If you use gel polish, level with a clear base.
10. Cure for 120 seconds, then apply gel polish if desired, finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

Correction:

1. Remove the coating down to the tip; remove any lifted areas with an e-file bit.
2. Gently mattify with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer.
3. Shape the nail, perform a manicure and degrease.
4. Apply primer and rub in rubber base. Cure for 60 seconds and remove the sticky layer.
5. Level with a color base (or a clear base under gel polish) and file down any step at the cuticle area.
6. Cure for 120 seconds, finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

Attention: the tips allow a correction only once, at most twice.
