Description

Gel Tips are a modern solution for quick and high-quality nail extensions without complex modeling techniques. They combine the strength of gel and the flexibility of plastic, allowing them to easily withstand daily loads while remaining maximally comfortable to wear. The thin structure ensures a natural look and minimal sensation on the nails. This extension technique is ideal for beginners. The tips are easy to file, adjust in length and shape, and work with SCOTCH BASE, which ensures reliable adhesion.

  • After fixing the tip, there is no need to build architecture with gel — they are ready for coating.

  • A minimal amount of materials is sufficient.
  • SCOTCH BASE is used for preparing the nail, attaching the tip, and bonding the tip with the overlay material.

3. Maximum Naturalness

  • A thin edge in the cuticle zone ensures a tight fit.
  • Elasticity allows the tip to adapt to the nail plate (it can be pinched).
  • Smooth surface with no need for significant filing — just buffing for better adhesion with the base.

Application Technology

  1. Prepare the nail plate: completely remove the previous coating, buff the nail, and clean off dust with DARK GEL CLEANSER.
  2. Treat the nail with Dehydrator and Ultrabond.
  3. Apply a thin layer of SCOTCH BASE to the entire natural nail and polymerize for 60 seconds in the original lamp.
  4. Select the appropriate tip size.
  5. Apply a thin layer of SCOTCH BASE to the inner contact zone of the tip. Do not treat the tip with Ultrabond or a buffer beforehand.
  6. Press the tip to the nail plate, pushing it toward the cuticle with a 1–2 mm gap. Fix under a UV flashlight for 10–30 seconds.
  7. Finish curing in the lamp until fully polymerized — 60 seconds in the original lamp.
  8. Remove the step in the cuticle zone with a file or bit and buff the tip with a 180-grit file or bit.
  9. If necessary, shape with a 180-grit file.
  10. Wipe away dust residue, cover with a thin layer of SCOTCH BASE, and cure for 60 seconds in the original lamp.
  11. Cover with color gel polish or any chosen material, and cure according to the material's recommendations.
  12. Seal with a top coat and cure in the lamp for 90 seconds.
