Description
The HEPA filter is the master of purity in the world of air filtration. It captures even the smallest particles in the air generated during manicures and pedicures, such as nail extensions, nail shaping, and length reduction with files and cutters.
The unique feature of the HEPA filter is its ability to capture dust and foreign odors even when particles only briefly touch the material. This is possible thanks to adhesion and autohesion, two remarkable processes that make HEPA filtration so effective.
The design is extremely simple: a plastic frame with a special corrugated filter insert inside, built to capture and hold dust. The filter is intended for dry cleaning only. If it loses its properties after a month of active use, vacuuming will not restore it — in that case, the filter must be replaced.
How the HEPA filter works:
- Air containing dust particles, even ones as small as 10 microns, passes through the filter.
- Larger particles are knocked out of the airflow by inertia, while smaller particles are captured as they move through the filter.
- All particles remain on the filter as soon as they touch the fibers.
- They stay in place thanks to natural forces of attraction, holding them firmly within the filter.
