LUNA Diamond Gel 3, 15 ml

LUNAmoon Diamond Gel is a builder gel with fine glitter in delicate shades. It combines the strength of a classic builder gel with a subtle sparkle, so extensions and strengthened nails look finished even without gel polish.

Key features:

• Fine glitter evenly distributed in the gel.
• Acid-free.
• Flexible and shock-absorbing – does not crack on impact.
• Medium consistency and medium pigmentation that covers the free edge.
• Suitable for all modeling techniques, including extensions on upper and lower forms.
• No burning sensation in the lamp.
• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid under the brush; thickens in the cold and becomes more fluid in warmth. Can be gently warmed for a more fluid consistency.
• Hard at a thickness of 1 mm; thinner layers may flex slightly without affecting wear.
• Does not shrink and holds the arch well.
• Apply over a rubbed-in layer of rubber base.
• Volume: 15 ml.

Application – strengthening:

1. Remove the previous coating. Do not shorten the nail yet, or leave about 2 mm of extra length to file after leveling.
2. Gently mattify the nail plate with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer, without strong pressure.
3. Perform a manicure. If you used a cuticle remover, wash your hands with soap and water.
4. Degrease the nail in two steps (for example with LUNAmoon Nail Prep): first the nail surface, then the cuticle area and sidewalls with an orangewood stick wrapped in a lint-free wipe. Use a dehydrator if needed.
5. Apply primer if needed – with a sufficiently acidic rubber base it is not necessary.
6. Rub in a thin layer of rubber base with a flat gel brush, working it into all nail folds. Cure for 60 seconds and remove the sticky layer.
7. Level the nail with Diamond Gel, keeping 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure for 120 seconds.
8. File and refine the shape, keeping enough thickness at the free edge to support it. If the nail curls or is very soft, file about 1 mm from the underside of the free edge to prevent lifting.
9. Remove the sticky layer and dust, then apply gel polish if desired.
10. Finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

Application – extension on forms:

1. Remove the previous coating, shorten the natural nail to about 1 mm and give it a round shape.
2. Gently mattify the nail plate with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer.
3. Perform a manicure. If you used a cuticle remover, wash your hands with soap and water.
4. Degrease the nail in two steps and use a dehydrator if needed.
5. Apply primer.
6. Rub in a thin layer of rubber base with a flat gel brush, working it into all nail folds. Cure for 30 seconds and remove the sticky layer.
7. Fit a nail form and build the free edge with a clear builder gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
8. Remove the form, file the free edge to the desired shape and remove the sticky layer and dust.
9. Apply a thin layer of rubber base to the filed areas and cure for 30 seconds.
10. Build the structure with Diamond Gel. After 10–15 seconds in the lamp, pinch the nail to form the C-curve (20 seconds for glitter gels), then cure for 120 seconds.
11. Remove the sticky layer, apply gel polish if desired, finish with a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
