Description
PROSEPT® Instru is an economical concentrate for the manual disinfection and cleaning of instruments made of stainless steel, tungsten carbide, diamond grit, titanium, silicon carbide and silicone – for example nippers, scissors, pushers and drill bits. It is also suitable for alcohol-sensitive rotary instruments. It has strong cleaning power, contains corrosion inhibitors and is free of aldehydes, phenols and chlorine. Dosage: 3% working solution = 30 ml of concentrate + 970 ml of water. 1 l of concentrate makes about 33 l of working solution.
Effective spectrum of the 3% solution (tested according to European standards):
- 15 minutes: bactericidal (incl. antibiotic-resistant bacteria), tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal, yeasticidal and virucidal against enveloped viruses (incl. hepatitis B and C, HIV, herpes simplex, influenza A, coronavirus).
- 60 minutes: limited-spectrum virucidal (incl. adenovirus, norovirus).
How to use:
- For your protection, wear a protective coat, household gloves and safety goggles.
- Prepare the working solution according to the dosage.
- Disassemble the instruments, immerse them fully and observe the contact time.
- After disinfection, rinse the instruments thoroughly under running water of at least drinking-water quality for 10 seconds.
- Check the instruments visually. If necessary, remove residue with a brush and repeat the disinfection.
- Replace the working solution daily or when visibly contaminated. The solution can also be used in ultrasonic cleaners.
Important: follow the reprocessing recommendations of the instrument manufacturer.
Composition (per 100 g): 4.55 g alkylamine, 1.8 g didecyldimethylammonium chloride, corrosion inhibitors, auxiliaries and water.
pH of the working solution: 11.0–12.5. Shelf life: 48 months. Volume: 1 l.
