What is polygel and how does it work?

Polygel is a hybrid material combining the best properties of hard gel and acrylic. It has a thick, pliable consistency that doesn't run or self-level — giving you full control over the application and allowing you to work at a comfortable pace. Unlike acrylic, polygel is odourless, lightweight, and cures under a UV/LED lamp, making the experience more comfortable for both technician and client.

Polygel vs. acrygel — what's the difference?

Both systems deliver outstanding strength and flexibility, but each has distinct working properties suited to different techniques and needs.

Acrygel is a thick, dense material that holds its shape perfectly before curing and doesn't run across the nail. It's the go-to choice for building length on upper or lower forms, reconstructing corners, or correcting asymmetry. Even on longer nails, acrygel provides excellent impact resistance and durability.
