Color Base, Cover Base and Camouflage Base for Gel Nails
A color base, often sold as a cover base or tinted base, combines the flexibility of a rubber base with pigment. In a single layer it levels the nail plate, hides imperfections of the natural nail and gives the manicure its color. You can wear it on its own under a top coat, or use it as a colored foundation for gel polish and nail art. Compared with a clear base plus gel polish, it saves one step and keeps the coating thinner.
Camouflage Bases: Nude, Milky and Pink Tones
Camouflage bases are color bases in natural nude, milky, pink and beige tones. Their coverage ranges from sheer to dense. A softer base gives a "my nails but better" look, while a dense one fully covers the free edge and discolorations. Choose by the result you want and by how much the natural nail needs to be hidden.
